Frozen (2013) - Discover how to Let It Go!

FrozenCharacters
Frozen (2013) Characters - From Left: Elsa, Kristoff, Sven (Reindeer), Olaf (Snowman), Anna, Hans

It's been so long since the last bit of the blog. But, I wanted to show you what has inspired me the most:
Yes, it's Disney's Frozen!

History

This movie, as you know, is the official production of Walt Disney Pictures. Released on 2013, this movie was based on the Snow Queen tale by Hans Christian Andersen. At first, it was told that the movie supposedly to tell about Elsa as the Snow Queen, threatening the kingdom. But after the release of the song 'Let It Go' by the composer, the story was scrapped and changed to what we knew today.

Personal Statistics

This movie is great, and suitable for all ages (G) with no sex restriction.

Overall Score: 80/100

  1. Audio/Video: 22/30
  2. Characters: 8/10
  3. Storyline: 50/60
Well, from the Audio/Video side, the graphic looked awesome. Disney was really paying attention to snow and it's properties. Disney also accurately imaging Elsa's power. However, some glitches still occur like the sudden disappearance of footprint and about Anna's inner clothes when she climbed the mountain. Despite that, it was a well-designed movie overall

From the characters side, Disney made a perfect change. Elsa who is now only just being misunderstood gave a very good meaning to the plot of the story, compare this to the original 'evil' Elsa! The characters were also awesome and well-designed. Problem arise, though, because of Elsa didn't frequently appeared as I suspected and Olaf's joker-dominant role (should have been given more role than that)

The storyline is great. Nothing can describe that more. I really like Disney's thinking of making the twist at the end of the movie. The movie's musical also play an important role in making the movie less frustrating and boring and make the movie more dynamic. However, the storyline could be extended by showing what Elsa can do apart from building an Ice Rink, Ice Castle and giving Olaf life (like playing with her sister once more, perhaps?)

Overall, apart from a slight glitch, the movie was great and so far the greatest, fighting for number 1 with Maleficent and Tinker Bell: The Pirate Fairy from Disney Fairies franchise whose storyline resembles that of Frozen (except that the one who left betrayed her country of Pixie Hollow rather than just hide)

Special: Disney Princess Line-Up

As Anna and Elsa were part of the princess of a kingdom (Arendelle in this case, and Elsa is the queen), a debut was started about their appearance in the line-up of the Disney Princess franchise. So far, no news were officially given about their fate in the line-up, but many believed that they will appear, and I said the same too

Sequel

Possibility: 79%
Frozen was brilliant and also profitable, with a net profit of $1 billion. So chances are that Disney may continue the adventures of Arendelle in Frozen 2! But Disney hasn't told us whether they will make a sequel of Frozen, or that Frozen will be a sole movie. Despite all of that, because of the recurring 'bird news' that Wreck-it-Ralph 2 is under production, the Frozen fans were optimistic that a sequel is coming soon

If the sequel is really going to be created and start production by the end of this year, the approximate release date would be from the quickest of end 2015 (around December, considering using old materials back like Tinker Bell movie series which is finished every year) up until the latest of start 2019 (around February, I presume, based on Frozen's production time since the release date was announced)

For the sequel, if Disney would ever made one, I think it would be awesome if the sequel told us about the adventure of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven to search, explore, or save something, probably focusing on Elsa's power capabilities (Elsa's the hero for the second movie) because of her less dominant role in the first movie. I also think that the sisterhood must be kept for the second movie as the sisterhood was the backbone of the first movie, but added with some romance between Anna and Kristoff (like the part where they became boyfriend and girfriend, perhaps? But this time, Elsa agrees as Anna has knew Kristoff for a longer time)

Possible Dates: Dec 2015-Feb 2019
Possible Titles: "Frozen 2", "Frozen: The Adventures of...", "Frozen 2: The...", etc
Possible Plot: Adventure to distant place, Attack on Arendelle, Finding something to save the kingdom, etc
